Supplies

Here are some quick links to band supplies.  You may purchase these supplies at your favorite music store or supplier, but I have added hyperlinks for your convenience.

Recommended Instruments

With musical instruments, you often times get what you pay for. The student models are more affordable and can be purchased at any local music store, and even financed. These models are proven to be high quality and dependable. For beginners I recommend renting one of the student models listed below. Most music stores offer rent-to-own programs where the money you pay goes towards owning the instrument rather than just renting. As students advance and move into high school, I recommend stepping up to a higher quality instrument. While these are professional horns and are costly, as long as they are maintained the depreciation is minimal and you can get most if not all your money back should you choose to sell it years later.
